Components of the Explorer Tab

The Explorer tab consists of three primary tabs: Sources, Pages, and Actions.

Sources

This tab provides insights into the sources from which your website visitors originated. You can search for specific sources or analyze common and custom parameters related to these sources. You have the option to map multiple elements at once or dive deeper to map specific attributes of individual sources.

Referring URLs

Within the Sources tab, you will find an additional entry called "Referring URLs."

This section lists the URLs from which users arrived at your website. By analyzing referring URLs, you can gain insights into external sources driving traffic to your website.

Pages

In this tab, you can explore the various pages on your website that were visited by users. You have the option to map multiple elements at once or dive deeper to map specific attributes of individual pages.

Actions

The Actions tab allows you to examine user interactions with elements on your website. You have the option to map multiple elements at once or dive deeper to map specific attributes of individual sources.

Utilizing the Explorer Tab

Searching for Elements

At the top of the Explorer tab, you can use the search bar to find specific elements within your data. Enter keywords related to sources, pages, or actions to filter the results.

Mapping Elements

There are several ways to map elements using the Explorer tab:

  1. Quick Mapping: The Bulk Add icon allows you to quickly map the top 10 elements for each section (sources, pages, or actions).

  2. Single Element Mapping: The square plus icon lets you map a single element from the list directly onto your canvas.

  3. Mapping with Attributes: For a more granular approach, click the attributes icon next to an element to access its attributes. You can choose which attributes to include and confirm the mapping.

Leveraging the Explorer Tab for Insights

The Explorer tab offers a user-friendly approach to access and map elements on your canvas. It empowers you to gain valuable insights into your analytics data and optimize your funnels.

Key Insights:

  1. Identify Top Performing Sources: Analyze the sources tab to identify the top-performing traffic sources that drive the most visits to your website.

  2. Discover Popular Pages: Use the pages tab to discover the most visited pages on your website. Focus on optimizing these pages to enhance user engagement.

  3. Understand User Interactions: The actions tab provides insights into user interactions with elements on your website. Analyze these actions to identify user behaviors and preferences.

The Explorer tab in Funnelytics is a powerful tool for exploring and mapping elements from your analytics data onto your canvas.

By understanding how to use the Explorer tab effectively, you can gain valuable insights into your website's performance and optimize your funnels accordingly.
